On March 13th, the Project C.A.R.E youth team packaged 25 women’s hygiene kits. These kits included pads, soap, tampons, and educational pamphlets containing information on how to change menstrual hygiene products, maintaining a balanced diet, risks of not changing products often enough, and different symptoms of menstruation such as PMS and physical/emotional symptoms.  These kits were packaged and fundraised for solely by the youth team, consisting of middle schoolers from across the Bay Area. They were donated to Light for his Kingdom, an organization which provides essential goods and personal belongings to foster children, single moms, and orphans around the world.
